Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 Digital Camera
I have a panasonic lumix DMC-TZ3 digital camera and when we download the photos from the camera on to the computer they are all blue. I have checked the setting on the normal picture mode and it is in the middle on 0 in the section where it says red & blue. What do you advise
It might be an idea to check whether your "white balance" is not set to "fluorescent light" or "custom white balance". "Auto" is the safest option here. Incorrect white balance would cause blue/yellow cast on the picture. Otherwise the problem might be more severe (i.e. sensor failure-not common in TZ3 though).
If you're still getting blue cast with white balance set to auto, you can try to set "custom white balance" with white sheet of paper (refer to the manual for details) - this will override auto white balance.

If the photos view normally on the TZ3, then the problem is with your computer viewer/photo program or settings, or the cameras download data transfer.
A very hand SD card reader to have, no bigger than a USB thumb drive, is the Sandisk MobileMate SD+. It is $10 to $20, depending of sales, from RadioShack, Staples, or most places that sell digital cameras. It frees you from carrying around a bulky or unique USB Camera cable, xfers pictures faster, and doesn't use your camera's battery power.....while also letting you test your current potential data xfer problem.

Make sure you have the Mac driver for your camera. Install the Mac driver that came with the CD. Try to use a different USB cable. You can also try to isolate the problem by plugging your camera to a Windows OS computer like windows xp and vista.

The quickest way to multiple delete pictures from you camera after you have copied or backed them up is to use the camera's menu to format the camera or/and card.
