Question about Onkyo Audio Players & Recorders
MAY I GOT DIAGRAM OF SETTING,DISTANCE,DELAYTIME, DESIGN SITTING FOR MY ROOM.? My room size is 16ft.1" X 18ft.3".00. Hight is 10ft. 6" .I have Onkiyo
898 A/V Receiver and thx certified LCR Speaker with 4 diopole surround &
back surround . L- C- R speaker & surround and two back surround are place as attech file herewith Ditance L-C-R 10ft .6 " & SURROUND LEFT & RIGHT ARE 8ft .6" and back left -right Back surround 6FT.6" ARE far from my iistaning -sitting . . I put SPL METTER incenter room and set at 82db in all speakers.i.e left +4 db , center +2 db, Right +4 db, right sur 0 db , back sur. left +1 db, right back sur.+1 ,& left sur +1 db Woffer JAMO D-7set near front Left at 9ft. 5" far my sitting on -1 db in ONKYO 898 AV RECEIVER.I got good sound .But WHAT & WHICH set delay AND
distance in A/V.So what do I do .Please guide to me properly for same and got

SOURCE: no surround sound
So your saying that you have no rear channel. Some recivers use a single stereo output ic for both sides on the rear speakers. you could have a defect with this IC . Anther thing Im sure you check3ed the obvious ie : the switch is on suround sound? If there is a front to rear fader is it in the middle? Good Luck

Hi there. If you are running a 5.1 speaker system, make sure your surround speakers are on the surround terminal NOT ON THE SURROUND BACK. the surround back is only for the 7.1 speaker system.
