Pry off the colored faceplate around the screen. Underneath will be four screws. Remove them and open the unit up. You should be abe to access the inside of the unit to figure out a way to reattatch the connector. I have not had to do this but I have opened a couple up to replace displays. The hardest thing is getting the thing back together due to how the antenna mounts (poorly). Just open it slowly and visualize how it goes back in. I have no advice on actually fixing your issue, just on how to get in to look around.

The C330 does not have bluetooth capability. Regardless, this has nothing to do with the unit's ability to acquire satellites. Nor should the type of vehicle you purchased, unless the unit is unable to receive due to some feature, like something in the windshield, which is preventing the unit from receiving a proper signal. Does the unit work outside the vehicle?

Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS Battery

Remove front bezel by lifting just under the GARMIN name. Remove the 4 outer screws. Gently pull apart. Keep in mind the orientation of the antenna as it's a bit tricky to put back. The battery is mounted between the two speakers.

It's a round cylinder item attached to the main board by a plug. Problem is this plug also houses the connection to the speakers. If you are good at rewiring, cut the battery leads and reconnect them to the new battery. Not sure where to get the battery though.

When putting back the antenna, keep note of the tabs. The lower one remains on the outside of the shelf guide, and the upper one is on the inside of the shelf guide.b0d8aad.jpga47c0e7.jpg2a171e3.jpg

Pop the face plate off with your thumb nail right uner the Garmin logo. On the right side you will see a reset button. Depress it for 2 seconds. Replace face plate and power back on.

Some automobiles have a metalic coating on the windshield. You will brobably need a remote antennae to use the GPS in this car.
