Question about GPS
NAVMAN S45 S/NBFFAM03239 TAKES ME DIRECT FROM SAFETY AGREEMENT TO MAPS AND USED FOR FIRST TIME SHOWS MILES/YARDS. I NEED TO DELETE SAFETY AGREEMENT & FAVOURITE ADDRESSES& KMS/METRES FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA I INITIALLY EXPERIMENTED WITH & BRING BACK LANGUAGE SCREEN & TUTORIAL. WHEN ON MAPS I CANNOT FIND HOW TO PROGRESS TO THE ABOVE FROM THE MAIN MENU SCREEN.THE BEYOND NAVIGATION USER MANUAL DOES NOT APPEAR TO PROVIDE THE INFO?ALSO WHEN ENTERING ADDRESS HOW DO YOU SPACE ON KEYBOARD BETWEEN STREET NAME AND ST/AVE ETC TIM EMBLETON-SMITH
Safety message: We live in a litiginous world and the manufacturers don't want to be sued if you make the wrong turn and drive into a lake. Or run into a 'roo and total your car while using their GPS. About the space. Look for a short line on a key to the bottom right of the keyboard, probably last character on the right. That will be your space. Press it and the cursor and will move to the right. It may also look like a carat punctuation mark. As far as KMs goes, only the U.S. and a bananna republic in Africa still uses miles. It's in their somewhere, mate.
