Re: Where is the reset button on the 910?
Turn tom tom over where you see the pins that connect to the mounting brace. while you have it this way look down almost to the back of unit. you will see a tiny hole just big enought to fit a very small paper clip in hole. press on time and it will reset it for you. you have to look very very close to see it.

Before you reset your 910, first make sure your battery is (well) charged and if you are using an SD card, it is taken out.
The reset button is actually a tiny hole at the bottom / base of the unit.
Simply use a straightened out paper clip or something similar, insert it into the hole and hold it there for 20 seconds or so, until the device turns off. Then push the ON/OFF button and hold it down for a while ... (5 seconds ... or lots more) until the device powers up again. If you're using an SD card, you can then insert the card (when it is looking for it).
According to Kevin A who says, and thanks by the way (There is a reset button on the back at the top of the unit. It should be on the right side as you turn the unit around. Insert a paperclip or pin into this hole, and the unit should reset) at it works 100% because I tried this morning after being quoted £55 to have my GO910 fixed and now it works after the price of a paper clip. the reset hole is hard to find... If you are looking at the back of the unit, it is in the upper right hand side of the liitle plastic protrusion at the top of the semi-circular opening above where you can see the exposed circuit board.
