Question about Yamaha DVD-S796
The laser his no longer working in my dvd player ,why do i get it repaird for a cost 8 times higher than anew dvd player . i have been a loyal supporter for Yamaha elctronics but 450 for a laser i think im lookin at LG from now
This is not a shocking price, by the time it is removed, re-fitted and alligned. The Laser might be $300 cost tohe repairer. Best you take the player back to the point of sale, chat with a salesman and twist his / her arm for a sharp price on a new replacement machine.
