Question about Gateway GTW-P42M303 42 in. Plasma Television
Sony KDP51WS550 Rear Projector TV turns on with sound but no picture for about 5-10 seconds then shuts off. The LED light on front of tv blinks 10 times. I know its probably something wrong with the power supply, but I dont know if it is a diode, capacitor, or a transistor and the part number. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. My children are going crazy not being able to watch their cartoons in the morning. THANK YOU
This is usually a problem on the high voltage board. When you first turn it on, the main board does it's P.O.S.T., then powers the HV board. You'll be hard pressed to find a replacement for it. You MIGHT find someone that can rebuild it, but for the money? Time for an open box special at you local electronics place.

SOURCE: SONY-LED BLINKS 10 TIMES
OK, 10 times is HV protection (High Voltage) and problem can be in D board and Q8013, Q8014 can be shorted along with R8051 open.
also IC8005 can be damaged.
All above parts on D board.
I would recommend to get related service manual for proper diagnose of problem in TV.
