To change your SMS tones with your Sony Ericsson Aspen, please follow the steps:
1. Go to MENU 2. Then SETTINGS 3. Go to PERSONAL 4. Then PROFILES>Choose whatever profile u want eg. Normal, silent, driving, meeting, outdoor etc. 5. Then PERSONALIZE>you will see the MESSAGE ALERT and you may already change the SMS tones.
It's up to you, what alert tones you want to choose.
You may opt-out and remove Your SMS information by sending "LEAVE SPEEDDATE" to the SMS text message You have received.
For your email accounts on your computers.
You have full control regarding which of these emails you want to
receive. To change your options, simply click "Email Alerts" in the
Profile tab from any page and opt out of them from there.
When
you get the emails, look down at the bottom for their 'unsubscribe' in
small print at the end of the email. It should bring you to another page
to put in your email address when you click that link. It usually takes
several days for the emails to stop coming though to update in their
system.
sms alert is by a feature used by your profile .. do you have it in meeting ? General ? etc; ... usually if your phone plays music or rings when someone is calling you should get a sms tone however sometimes this feature is disabled user error possible? check your manual
I've finaly figured out how so i'll share (: go to Settings > Phone profiles > and click on edit on the one you have choosen and then click on the icon that looks like a envolope, and its pretty simple to figure out what to do from there, hope i've helped.
