None. The cables are already attached to the turntable. They are hard wired to the unit. The red & White cable. Just connect to the PHONO INPUT on your DJ MIXER, and connect the thin ground wire to the GROUND terminal on the mixer. That's it your ready to go.

Hi there, i just bought 2 Technics mkii

well" for a start, they need to go into a phono socket, this amplifies them.
i take it you bought 2 decks with the intentions of mixing, so you gonna need a mixer.
MIXER & DECKS SET UP:
1.decks into phono channels 1&2
2. black GROUND wires, go to GND screw on back of mixer
3. RCA master / booth Outputs on mixer to AUX / LINE-IN on amp.(not phono)

How to record from decks to mac air?

get a USB interface sound card, then come out of the mixers REC OUT or BOOTH, in to the USB's LINE IN or MIC.
Then you'll need some recording software installed.

I received the turntables and mixer but Im having trouble installing everything together. Is there any companies that can help you install the turntables, mixer, and speakers

Not to worry if you can take some pains and be confident. First of all arrange the turntable, the mixer, the amplifiers and the speakers. Connect the turntables two RCA pins to the PHONE pins L and R. of the mixer. Using another set of RCA cables to connect the output of the mixer to the amplifier's AUX inout L and R. Try to connect the red and white in accordance to the L&R. The speakers should be cconnected to the left and right of the amplifier's main. if you have front and rear use them but connect with the polarity of the red and black polarity . Use a good power supply multipin unit to connect all the power. Do not switch on until you have checked once again. Now switch on and play your favourite record. DO take time to do and you will suceed. Good day

What do i do with the earth cable on my technics to stop the humming?

If you are connecting it directly to a HiFi amplifier, connect the ground lead of the technics to the ground termination on the back of the amplifier.
If you are connecting to a Dj Mixer, connect the Technics ground lead to the ground on the back of the Dj Mixer.
Make sure the ground is connected securely and will not fall off. To check this, after connection give a light pull on the ground cable. If the lead comes away, reterminate (connect).

One of my DJ turntables = only left side stereo sound

need to narrow it down, using 1 turn table ONLY with the mixer on channel 1 (the chanel that is working) to test reciever is working properly and sound working on both side of the speakers, this eliminate the first turn table. Next, disconnect the working turn table (1) and connect your second turn table to the same chanel and see if you getting the sound coming chanel 1 just as your first turn table did. If you getting sound coming out from turn table on ch1 than is not the turn table issue. It will be you mixer having problems. You cant solve the problems having everything connected. Testing one turn table at a time using working chanel on the mixer to see if both turn table working properly. If you use the same chanel testing both turn table and the second one does not work than it will be one of your turn table is faulty. Note: if you find and test both of your turn table is working properly than it will be your mixer. good luck and hope that help..

Technics SL1500 will not connect to new Sony STR-DH100 receiver

Unfortunately, a turntable runs on a different frequency, and if there is no button at the back of your receiver to change the frequency setting on that channel, it wont give you any sound. the best bet is to go to your music store and purchase a small DJ mixer. connect that to your receiver, and run the turntable through your mixer. the mixer will have the neccesary flip switches and "ground" connections

One cdj and one turntable

This is possible, by connecting your turntable to the Line Input on the serato box. Then just connect both to your LINE INPUT on your mixer, and set the controls on your Serato Software to LINE INPUT - NOT Phono.

Instruction manual for ministry of sound mixing decks

What are Ministry of Sound mixing decks? I am familiar with MOS, but was not aware they manufactured mixing decks?

Are you connecting these to a DJ mixer, or a Home Receiver?

If it's going through a home receiver, make sure you have them connected to the PHONO input on your receiver. If your receiver does not have a phono input, and you are connecting to the LINE IN or AUX IN section on the rear, you will not hear much. Most turntables require a pre-amplified signal, and only the PHONO input has this option. So, you will need to purchase a PHONO PRE-AMP, and connect your turntable to it, then connect the PHONO pre-amp to the LINE IN.

If you are connecting to a DJ mixer... same thing. Make sure you have them connected to the PHONO INPUT on the mixer. If you still don't get anything, then there might be something wrong with your mixer.

If you could clarify you exact set up, and the EXACT models, we can help you better.

No music

Where do you have the turntable connected? Is it going into a DJ Mixer, a Receiver, or a Power Amp?

No matter the unit, make sure you have it plugged into the PHONO INPUT connection on the rear. If your receiver/amp does not have this, then you will need a PHONO PRE-AMP - The turntable connects to the PHONO PRE-AMP, and the PRE-AMP connects to the LINE IN or AUX IN of your receiver.

If you are connected to the PHONO INPUT of your mixer/receiver/amp, then the problem might be one of the following on the turntable:

1) Tonearm
2) RCA Cables
3) Cartridge

There is no easy way to see which one of these is the culprit, it's just a matter of elimination.

But, you didn't provide much information. If you can be more specific as to how you have your turntable connected, what kind of cartridge your using, and whether or not, you've determined that the problem is indeed the turntable and not your mixer/receiver/amp, or even your speakers. This would help in determining what the issue might be.

Very low volume!

If you're used to playing your vinyl through a hi-fi turntable (and not DJ turntables) then you're probably used to your turntable having a built-in amplifier. DJ decks don't have these and if you plug into 'line' it will come out very quiet. Try plugging into 'phono' if you have it, if not you'll need some extra amplification somewhere between the deck and the speakers (a mixer usually takes care of some of this before it goes into the main amp of the system). Hope this helps. Ad
