Question about Panasonic KX-TG5422M Cordless Phone
We've had our Panasonic KX-TG5422M for over a year. It has always frequently displayed a "no link to base" message, even though the phone is usually *on* the base. We constantly have to unplug and replug the phones several times before we get a dial tone again. Most recently we lost the dial tone without getting the "no link to base" message. An expensive service call to our local telephone service resulted in no problems with the lines, but the phone being down yet again which was fixed by unplugging the phone for about 30 seconds and replugging it. The technician indicated this is a problem with Panasonic phones and power supply. Is there a permanent solution to this problem other than getting new phones? Also, the second phone's display has been fading out. Thanks for any feedback.
I had this problem too. I popped the battery out, waited 1 minute then put it back in. Unfortunately this clears the memory of all recent calls, etc. but it immediately started working again. So far its only happened once...
