Dear Sir or Ma'am, I have the above-named switch, it has 4 buttons on it, ''Light'', ''High'', ''Medium'', and ''Low'', it has worked flawlessly for 3 months (we just moved into this house and the switch was already here). Today it quit working. The lights no longer come on although the small red light above the ''Light'' button still flashes when I push the button. I replaced the battery but it made no difference.
Can you help?

I think one of the brushes in the motor may be at fault: not connected properly. Would require taking motor apart and checking
SOURCE: Fan switch broken, wires out when opened
I googled Hampton Bay Manufacturing and this is what I found:
Hampton Bay fans are manufactured by "King of Fans Manufacturing, FL". The contact number for them is 800-330-3267. ...
Maybe they can supply you with a wiring diagram.

Yes, it's working! Moves more air because the blades are longer and have concave shape.

The Remote (TRANSMITTER) control AND the RECEIVER must both be set to the same CODE in order for the REMOTE to operate the fan.
!!WARNING!! YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICITY ZONE!!
The RECEIVER is located in the CANOPY, the part of the fan assembly next to the ceiling which is also called the Hanger Bracket.
At the bottom of the Canopy you will see what looks like a large flat washer. Rotate the washer counter-clock wise to release it.
Then rotate the Canopy counter-clock wise to release and lower it. You will see the RECEIVER, which will have a short antenna at one end, tucked in among the electrical wire and bracket. Simply pull the RECEIVER out and you will see the CODE switches. Remember to set both devices to the same CODE.
Good luck. :)
SOURCE: Hampton Bay 52 In. Clarington. How do I reverse the fan?
Try these two: 1) look for a small switch up near the light area on the dark-colored area of the fan. If a switch is there, then simply flip the switch to the other position; 2) if you have a remote control for the fan, the reverse mode may appear on the remote control. Hope this helps.
