That's probably the best suggestion. Can you play the mx3 song with your recording program? No guarantee it will work, but you could try changing the "mx3" to "mp3" and see if it will play.

Most likley within the program settings,or in your "save as"dialog box, there will be a drop-down list to save as "mP3"among many others!!

Saving and transfering files i have got a samson gtrack and i want to know how to transfer files to other programes

Save your file in a format that your other programs will recognize and load. I use wave all the time. It takes up more space but gives you more to work with when you are editing.

Lost my DS-40 audio files after upload. Can I recover them?

you can use card recovery software that helped me before
1. Do not save any new file to memory card.
2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download recovery software, recommended one is this photo recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
http://www.asoftech.com/adr/
4. Install and open the data recovery program, select your memory drive, and click 'Next' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted files.
