Question about iRiver H10 MP3 Player
I have had my IRiver for over a year now, it has worked flawlessly up unitil this point. Now, when i turn it on, it says "system Initializing.. Please Wait" This usually comes up after the battery is accidently disconnected. It usually comes up for a minute or two, and then goes away and it works fine. Now, when it comes up, it doesnt go away, it just runs untill it shuts itself off. Can someone PLEASE help me! Thanks.
I've had my iriver for about 3 years now and never had a problem with it, but just the other day it quite working. so i thought maybe the battery is dead. but it's been pluged up for 2 days now and the light is still red, still wont turn on. any suggestions?

Hard drive finished.
The iriver usses the Microdrive, which is a piece of sh...
I wonder can replace the Microwith the Compact flash.
Ipod mini & Creative can use Compact flash

Mine went south this weekend as well...did the 'system initializing' screen, then the animated 'clock' appears, rotating hand turning and turning...at that point, even the power button doesn't work to turn it off...have to pop off the battery. I had just finished reformatting it last week with the latest firmware. I agree, the microdrive is lunched...I decided today to purchase a new MP3 player that uses flash memory instead of a hard drive...very disappointed :-(
