Re: How do I change the clock?

FROM EXTENSION 300: Press #TD + Enter time in 24-hour clock using hours (2 digits), minutes (2 digits) and seconds (2 digits) + HOLD + Enter date using month (2 digits), day (2 digits) and year (4 digits) + HOLD + SPK to exit. This will change the time on all the phones and voice mail.

Be sure to go to the "Mama" phone to do this fix... this will fix all the "Babies".

Setting the clock on the phone

On MITEL phone systems the time displayed by the telephone is (A) controlled by the main control in the back room, and (B) seldom precisely accurate to better than plus or minus 1 minute. That's the nature of the beast. However, if employees are complaining about the time displayed on the phone, perhaps they may not have enough work to keep them busy (my opinion). The DST offset will occur automatically on newer systems. If it doesn't, then a simple keyboard command entered on the system console will correct it.

Since Daylight Savings started on Nov 3, the clocks on all my phones jumped AHEAD one hour instead of back. I have tried everything I can think of including resetting my modem( I have Time Warner Cabl

You're time warner cable upstream provider is in another time zone. Are you close to a time zone border? Example of this is Mississippi and Georgia - you can live in Mississippi but get your internet connected (via network) to Georgia. That would produce Georgia time on Mississippi equipment.

How to change the time for daylight saving on kxt7730

If this is an analog system (ie TA-308/TA-624/TA-824-KXT-61610/etc) or a TD digital system, then you have to log into the System by a program switch on the cabinet or PROGRAM *#1234 at the first extension (usually 101 or 11) and change the time via program 00 or 000.

If the system is a TAW, TDA, or NCP, you can set the automatic daylight savings clock times for the next 20 years in programming.
For the short time, the programming instructions will change it until April.

If you have CID, the CID source will normally set the clock at the first call past 2:00 AM.

Time & Date

the console takes its time from the clock in the system .its the system time that is incorrect and needs modification in overlay 2.this can occur when moving from summer time to winter time and daylight savings not setup in your system.

I beleive there might be a firmware upgrade for the processor, but other than that there is nothing you can program to accomplish that.

I have a partner acs rel 7 with a voice mail card (large) 16 mailboxes. I set the time to the correct time at ext. 10, and it holds for maybe 15 minutes or until a call rings in, then the system clock...

With the new firmware of the 5x9 syncs the time of the phone system from the data of Caller ID. The provider is sending the wrong time stamp on the caller ID.

They did that to compensate for the new daylight savings time change.

Operator voice mail

Your programming is off by one hour. Check the system clock and make sure it is on local time. Some systems require a manual reset back and forth for daylight savings. If the clock wasn't corrected, this will account for the voice mail redirect. Thank You. Jerry

Change the time on phone system

1) press "Program", then * *, then 1234,
2) press "0 0 0",
3) press "speaker" two times,
4) change the time
5) press "store".
6) pick up the receiver to complete the change.

Do this change on the "lead" phone and it will reset all the others on your system. Not exactly an intuitive process to be sure!
