My blower motor wont turn off in my furnance?

check the fan setting on your thermostat. On means always on, auto/int means only comes on during heating/cooling. if the thermostat is set to auto / int and the fan keeps running? you may have a bad fan relay switch. It may be integral on the primary control board of your unit.

Miller furnance Lp that interm.will not shut off

if you turn Tstat off and it still runs then there must be a wire touching another either in the Tstat on wall or in the furnace. i would suggest you look close at wires to R and W to make sure they are not touching.

My furnance keeps turning off and I could go to furnance flip switch on and it only last 5 minutes then shuts off again

You may want to check the limit switch or you could have a issue with the gas valve or transformer. I would check the low voltage transformer first, Sometimes I have found that under load the transformer will open ( quit working) and will close after power is removed and it cools down, It indicates a bad internal connection.

To what terminals do the two wires coming from the a/c unit connect to on the furnance?i have r w g y c on the furnance board. its a carrier tech 2000 a/c and a rheem criterion 2 furnance

The 2 wires that come from the outside unit will connect to the Y(Cooling) and the C(Common) terminals on the board. It doesn't matter which wire goes to either one, they both work either way. Have a good one!

do you own a multi meter? do you know how to use one? if not call some one.
does the unit keep running outside if you turn off the furnace power switch. if it keeps running it the contactor in the condensing unit. if it shuts off it is your t-stat.

Carrier Furnance Fan / Blower Doesn't Start (Model 58GP-125-GA)

sounds like a bad capacitor usually screwed to the blower housing (round or oval shiny can)
this gives the motor a kick start)
depending on the motor there is usally two brown wires that go to it
check the mfd rating on it probably 5mfd and replace it with a matching one
its a very inexpensive part
