Need to know why my windows installer does not work
Whe trying to install software, when it gets to the installation it says it will not allow installation that there is a problem. I have tried to go to the toshiba website to download windows installer , but cannot get access to any such software. Can anyone help me?????????

Try to download windows installer from microsoft, ive seen this before a couple of times, sometimes it works by reinstaling windows installer...sometiimes not..if not you have to reinstall your OS again.
You will have access to download it from microsofr if you using a valieded copy of your OS

I think magic jack relates to your sound driver/device. I would try removing and re-installing your sound driver. If you let me know your model of computer or sound card I may even be able to provide a download link for the drivers.
Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.hp.com
Enter the model-number of the printer, and do the search.
Select Downloadable Device-Drivers.
Select Windows 7.
Download the device-driver.
I am assuming you are using one of the newer version of windows, although you don't mention this. There is a free version of paperport you can download over the internet so you might like to try this. With windows you can install 32 bit versions of software onto 64 bit system and they will generally work fine. You should also try using "compatibility" mode which windows uses to help manage programs designed for older version of windows. I have some older software that wont work on anything other than windows XP so I have installed a virtual machine onto my 64 bit computer, then installed windows xp onto the virtual machine, and then installed the software I need to use. This is a bit tedious and time consuming but works perfectly and allows me to use my older software.
I fixed this problem by going to Start>Control Panel and uninstalling the Java 64-bit program. It is incompatible with the Neo sync application. The other Java program on there is compatible. It worked immediately without even restarting. (I tried the above Best Solution, but on the newer computers, I get a message saying the Vista driver is only for Vista, not for Windows 7).
try to download belarc advisor software. Run this in your vista OS and send it to me so I can check your hardware specs. This is the only way to avoid problems in the future or before you start the formatting.
Everything you need is on the site. Bottom line, this software will erase your drive & allow you to install Windows XP what every version. You can try installing you're current drive into another working system & you might be able to pull you're personal data off the drive. It's worth a shot. One way or another you're MBR & FAT system are out to lunch. It just happends.(Suprised you haven't received any blue screens)!

Hi, I think ur laptop webcam driver not installed properly.If ur laptop have windows vista operating system then do these steps. Goto Start - Programs - Recovery Manager - Recovery Manager.In that recovery manager,click on next.Its shows the Software reinstallation page.Click on next button two times.Its shows the software lists.Select the webcam software and click on next button.After reinstallation completed , u restart laptop and check it. If ur laptop have windows XP operating system then u uninstall the webcam software through Add/Remove program and restart it.After restarting ,Reinstall the web cam software and check it. If u doesnt have webcam drivers then u go for nearest service centre and install it.
To assist you requires knowing what software and if possible what version of the software you were installing. Some software is not compatible with Vista yet, some may never be and others already have made updates available -- part of the problem with your issue is determining where in that list of conditions your software falls. As well as possibly providing a link to a version of the software that claims to be installable on you machine.
You could also have the right software and an installation issue but that still requires knowing about the software that generated the error. If the message contained more than code 1606 the full text of the message would also be helpful.
