Does the y splitter have little valves on it? Make sure both are open.

There should be a small hatch on the lower right front of the machine that you can open and access the drain pump. Tricity Bendix AW 1200 Operating Installation Instructions Manual...

it should have a hook up for both hot and cold water.

its the problem of drum getting blocked by any clothes getting tucked up.also try to move the drum manually with the machine off.if it makes any noise its the faulty motor.or drum has lost its alignment.it needs to be reseated properly in that case. -------------- The water fill valve - The water fill valve is a mechanical and electrical part, the coils on the valve need electricity to mechanically open the valve to allow the water to flow into the washer....myth....the washer pumps water into itself...no, it does not. The fill valve opens and the house water pressure pushes the water into the washing machine.
No cold water or no hot water - The fill valve has two coils, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. It is possible that one of the coils can fail and you loose that filling ability. If the cold water coil quits, the hot will still work and during warm fill you will get hot water only and during a cold fill you will get no water at all. If the hot coils quits, you will still have cold water fill, cold water only on a warm setting and no water on a hot fill setting. Some Maytag washers have a fuse in the fill valve circuit, if this fuse let go the washer will not fill. Fill valves can also from time to time stick open and not stop filling. If you have to shut off the fill valves to stop the water from filling in the washer, you have a bad fill valve and you will have to replace it.

Do you share your hot water with anyone? Is anyone washing dishes, laundry, etc before you shower? How old is your hot water heater? If it has filled with sediment, your hot water is limited. Try turning up the heat control valve on the hot water heater, only go up one notch today, then if not enough another the next day. Be cautious of scaulding hot water after turning it up.

Hello , I can help , if there is only 1 water inlet hookup it will be cold and some new machines heat the water on there own , if there are 2 water inlets it would be best to connect hot and cold to unit , if you do not have a hot water line available it should still be ok to put a Y adapter on your cold water line to both connections on your unit. Let me know how it goes. Phil

put it on its back on yhe top side of the motor you will see the brushes two screws hold each one on.
