Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi I have come across a buescher aristocrat Eb sax serial 281068. It's needs a clean up but could you provide some info about it please and would it be worth getting cleaned up ?

I own a Selmer Mark VI 1964 Paris edition.
I will not get it disassembled.
Just a complete tune up.

You mean complete disassembly
and acid dip cleaned?

I would say no.

Just get new pads
and get it tuned up.
The weathered look
gives your sax character!

Should be fine.
Unless it is very old and the silver is tarnished.
The cost is on the high end.

If you do get it cleaned and rebuilt do not get it re-lacquered.
It will definitely change the way it sounds (the intonation),
and the way it plays.

Hope this makes sense.

I believe this is the YAS62 with the G1 neck, made between 2002 and 2003. Pro level alto sax. Great saxophone for the price.

Made in 1919. As for value it needs to be seen rather than just a number.

Make sure that the valvea are in their proper place. 1,2,3....also you may not have them slotted correctly.
A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. no-sound-ldgqqfjkg0i0uu1yhake4h4x-1-0.jpg
