Question about Coleman Powermate Premium Plus 6250W Portable Generator
Thanks for the information and I will give it a try with caution. Just as an FYI, I also found a similar solution and have attached the website for your review.
He gives a good way to troubleshoot many of the Powermates. He's slightly wrong on 2 points:
1) Not all powermates have brushes, the smaller ones are brushless.
2) You don't really need 12 volts to flash, I prefer the 9v dry cell because it can't provide so much power that it fries your rotor (a car battery could).
Note that his method is much safer than what I described and you ought to do it that way if you can.
