Blinking lights on Belkin F5D7632-4

The internet and wirless lights are blinking. The wireless connection I have to my laptop is fine although the wired connection I have to the desktop is really slow.

My laptop is running Vista and my desktop WIndows XP.

Why is the connection to my desktop so slow whilst my Lapton connection is fine?

My laptop detects my network connection, I click connect then enter my password and when it is looking for the IP address the belkin router's wireless light starts blinking yellow. I never get connected....

Open RSP By typing 192.168.2.1 on the address bar of the internet Explorer

On the Left side Click on WiFi Protected Setup ( If its v 5000)

Leave the password blank and click submit

Disable it and click apply changes

It May Work

Modem router light blinking (no wireless connection) F5D8631-4

Try restoring the Belkin back to the factory default by powering up the Belkin and pressing the RESET button on the back of the Belkin for 7 secs. Then connect a LAN cable from the computer to the Belkin, open IE browser and type the configuration IP address and configure the wireless settings ie. SSID, encryption etc. The computer wireless cards will need to be configured with the Belkin wireless settings to allow them to communicate with the Belkin.

Router won't connect to the internet

I managed to figure it out. I had to clone the MAC address to get the router to connect to the Internet.

I still have another problem though, my laptop still won't connect to the router. I'm using Vista, is this a possible network adapter issue? My laptop is fine at connecting to other wireless networks round my friend's houses/libraries...

Belkin Router not allowing an Internet connection

I found the solution. I reset the router by pressing reset for 10 seconds. Then I turned off the cable modem and the router. Started the cable modem first, let all the lights come up and then restarted the router with the cable to the cable modem plugged in. The connected light is now on and I'm able to connected wirelessly.

Pc works via ethernet cable but wireless laptop cannot see the network

I think you have lost your PPPOE internet connection. Reestablish the connection. If this is not the problem, click your wireless connection on the taskbar and search for your wireless device and reconnect. BPCS
