Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
WWhen I try to scan with my Canon Super g3, it says it is not connected to my computer. It will print from my computer so why will it not scan from the canon to the computer.
Yes, there is an easy solution, possibly. Mainly because you say it may do a single job, and then it keeps jamming. Do you see the second sheet jamming in when it is not called for? Anyhow, you may try cleaning the rollers, all of them, like I did here: http://annoyances-resolved.blogspot.com/2009/09/paper-jam-buy-new-laser-printer.html This completely solved my problem of persistent paper jams.

Verify that you have good connections at both ends of USB cable. Verify that you have the camera powered on. Verify that you have media card or whatever in the camera that you are trying to read. If that doesn't work typically there should be a trouble shooting section in the manual. Windows should be detecting the unit. After it's connected look in "my computer" and see if you see the device / detachable storage listed among available drives and try navigating manually to your media.

Tips for a great answer:

Jun 11, 2009 | Canon LaserClass 2060P Plain Paper Fax
Sometimes turning it off and on again fixes it. However, we started having a problem where it would print out one page after you powered it back on again and then give the "incorrect paper size" message. I've found that by either holding down the green button or repeatedly pressing it while it powers back on (and held until the first page prints) fixes the problem.
