If the keyboard is not working at all:
- make sure it's connected to the proper place (USB or PS/2 keyboard jack, depending on type)
- if this is a PS/2 connection, check for bent pins in the plug

If the keyboard is working but not special function keys (media control, Internet access, etc.), be sure you have installed any driver software supplied with the keyboard.

If all the connections are correct and it still doesn't work, replace it. Like any other part a keyboard can go bad, and they are inexpensive to replace.

How do I reconnect the keyboard connection to my Medion PC MT7? It has become disconnected.

Upgrade the keyboard.
Change it for a USB type, the boot up software should recognise it without any problems

I have recently purchased a Medion Wireless Keyboard-Caps Lock

I have a blue tooth mx 5500 key board and it is supposed to be advanced but has no light for caps lock. Only thing it does it beeps one tone for Caps Lock on and another for off and you have to set it up in software that came with it. Not sure how it is on this one but if there is no LED to show it it has to be setting in the software to let you know is it on or not. Hope this helps.

Hi I have a KR0420 medion keyboard with a new medion computer. Is it possible to get a chart spelling out what each of the keys on the keyboard does. I am a bit new at this kind of thing and I would find...

Click on this link:

http://www.medion.co.uk/

then click on the second tab "service and support"

then a little further down click on "drivers2_bing.gif, updates, and manuals"

Then you will need to enter your machine's serial number and other info to ensure you receive the correct info. I believe you should find relevant info in the manual.

Hope this helps.

The wireless keyboards & mice work on batteries, try replacing the batteries first, if that doesn't work you may try with an USB(or PS2) replacement keyboard/mouse.

I have a Medion keyboard with my purchase of Medion PC model MT7. There is no light to indicate that Caps Lock is on - this creates difficulty when writing passwords with caps lock as the result is...

If this is a wireless keyboard there should be some kind of software that comes with it. The software should alert you when you push like scroll lock, caps lock, or num lock.

Or you can use this nifty little program that costs about $25. It stays in the icon tray and will notify you when you push any of those buttons. Here is a link to that website http://www.programurl.com/clever-keyboard-indicator.htm

I hope I have helped you.
