How to download video

Just purchased a video MP3 4GB player. My computer has Windows XP. The manual has no instructions on how to download a video into the MP3 player. When I attach the USB cable to the computer and the MP3 player the image of a computer and plug comes on and I have no idea how to download the video into the MP3 player. Please advise. Thank you.

Weights & Measures: Metric US Imperial UK Imperial // // Step 1: IntroductionBefore we start with the downloading of songs we should always keep in mind what type of player is it, and what company it comes from. Does it require any software for downloading? What is its memory status? And there are many more questions. There are approximately three types of methods you can use to download music onto your mp3 player, and we are going to show you each one of them. Step 2: From A CDIf your mp3 player came with a PC suit please install it on a PC as per the guidelines provided on its cover. Now, connect the USB cable in the appropriate ports of computer as well as the mp3 player. After connection you will see an icon in My Computer namely Removable Disk or the mp3 player name, Open it, insert the CD containing music and copy the mp3 files and paste it into the removable disk. Step 3: From The InternetConnect your mp3 player to the computer. Now go to any of the search engines and insert the search keywords as "music download". Now you will find a list of websites providing you with music, so just enter into one of the websites, search and select your favorite mp3 music and click on DOWNLOAD. Step 4: From The Internet Continued A new tab will open asking where you wish to save the selected files. Now select your removable disk (if required make folder and give it a name) and click on OK. Your mp3 music files will be downloaded in few minutes. After completion of your music download, right click on the removable disk and select EJECT. Now it is safe to disconnect your mp3 player from the USB port.

Never disconnect your mp3 player from the USB port until you have selected eject on the removable disk. If you do so errors will occur in you mp3 player so that it will start to function improperly and will get damaged soon.
Step 5: Via BluetoothIf your mp3 player is enabled with a Bluetooth device you can directly copy or send mp3 music files via a Bluetooth connection. All you have to do is use the function keys to access the menu, select connectivity, Bluetooth and turn on your Bluetooth device. Now on the other Bluetooth device from which you will receive the mp3 files, select the files and through options select send via Bluetooth. Step 6: Via Bluetooth ContinuedThe other device will search for your device, so then you have to select the name of your mp3 player. Now on your player a question will be asked whether to Accept or Reject the mp3 files - you should click on Accept. Your music will be downloaded in few minutes.

That is going to depend on your player. Some will allow a direct
docking and will play almost any video file. Some will need to have
that video file converted to one it understands, before you can
transfer it. Some will have an sd memory card that will allow the
direct transfer without decoding. Some will do all of the above, such
as the one I own, a Creative Zen.
At the very least, there will be
a cable provided with the player that will hook up to a USB 2.0 port on
your PC. There may be special software (such as I tunes or Creative
Media Explorer) that came with it, that you'll need to use. Some
players will operate just fine with using windows media player as the
transfer program. Some will let you use "my computer", to drag and drop
    your vids.

There are also some audio only MP3 players that will allow you to use a
folder in their storage area, to store any file and transfer it to
another pc, just like a jump drive.

If you were a little more specific on the player

I am sorry, I for some reason thought it was a Mac. Go to "run" from the start menu. Then click the "browse" button. That should show you all of the things in the computer, the C drive etc.You should now be able to see the new drive, I am assuming you have it pluged into the USB port, any of them is fine. Now you may select the new drive, by going to the top of the "run" window where if says, Look in, that is where the new drive is. Or you can click on "My Computer" and you should be able to see all of the drives that are hooked up to yourt system. Now you can either drag the songs or playlists into the new player/drive, "it may show up as a drive or it may have the name of the player. now you can drag or copy from one drive to th other, thanks and sorry for misreading your post, Gym
