I have to ask the question have you contacted Microsoft about this issue? Since the device is only one month old it is still under full factory warranty. Also you question is confusing in that you talk about an xbox360 conrtoller that has stopped working but do not define if it stopped working with your xbox 360 and you are now trying to have an xbox360 device work with a PC instead of xbox360. Please get back to me with more accurate information. But you best bet is to contact microsoft since it is still under warranty.
hey i just bought my controller 2 days ago and iv been looking for solutions to this problem to this date 12/22/10 and i found one. I used a different connector you know that little cord that came with it, use a different one, make sure its the same type, dont just jam anything in there. When i switched it, it worked fine my computer installed the driver and it connected to the customizer. So the problem was the cheap cord that came with it, so switch it out for a new one and it will work hope this helps...cheater ;)
hi there, just a quicky...but ur wireless headset dosnt sync to the controller it syncs to the xbox :-) it dosnt matter which controller you use its synced with the xbox & not the controller ! if ur using 2 different controllers depending on which you switch on first will take player 1 as will the wireless headset. if after you have switched it on (the xbox) you decide to use the other controller it will obviousley take player 2 slot (even if you switch the other controller off first) as will the headset ! hope this helps :-)
Many 3rd party company controllers don't work. I bought one before for my old gamecube and it didn't work. Intec sounds like a pretty reputable company, but I never heard of Intec. Your best bet for a cheap controller from a 3rd party is Madcats, they make good controllers for most consoles. What you should do is see if you can return it, if not, try these.
1. Try taking out the micro chip and blowing over it,
2. Try to bring it closer to your console, so it can focus on to it better.
1. Try shifting around the cord until you get some kind of signal that it is working.
2. Take it to a software technician.
