Shut it off, wait a few, turn it back on, press all four corners with fingertips at the same time. If that doesn't re-set it, call Garmin. They're super helpful
This means that it is unable to locate a satelite,you can go into the setting and restore the defaults and this should resolve the problem once you restart the unit.
The unit needs to have the screen facing up. The unit will not read if it is vertical. Garmin cust serv finally helped me with that one. Once you turn on the unit, it could take up to 20 minutes (usually about 3) to grab satelites.
