Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am trying to connect my laptop, the option for PC is not highlighted, therefore I cannot use it as an input source. Is there a way I can change the input source menu?

no you cant change the input source menu

source must be present and active for it to show in menu

make sure PC is hooked up to VGA input and make sure PC is toggled so it has the display going to TV - once this is correct you should see it as an input option

write back if you need more help and give m,e more details like what type of PC you are hooking up as well as what input and wiring you are trying

good luck!!!

How do i set componet 2 to hdtv on a samsung HLN617W, it says unsuppoted mode

When you get an Unsupported mode error on this tv, its usually not the tv. Change the resolution on the source to something the tv can handle.

Sometimes samsung labels the component ports in the back of the set so you know what it can accept.
