Question about GE JVM1660 Microwave Oven
Our Spacemaker XL 1800, all of a sudden, started making a whizzzzz kind of a noise (sort of something got loose inside) when we turn on the microwave. The noise mostly seems to come from the vent area above the top of the microwave door. I took the vent cover off and found that the charcoal filter was slid down. But even after I put the charcoal filter in place the noise doesn't seem to go off. What could be the problem? Is that something that I can fix by myself? Thanks.
Maybe you and the person from the post below could get together and help each other? http://www.fixya.com/ThreadView.aspx?prdid=489218&thid=130453
