Wii Guitar Hero - No Guitar Sound

Hi,

Can anyone help please. My daughter has just tried using the Wii Guitar Hero, it's all setup and been working fine before, but, even though it's recognising all the key strokes as you play them, it won't play any of the sound for the guitar strokes your playing. The Sound levels are all set to max, in Options/Audio, but no sound???

Any help greatly appreciated

Regards,

Brett

Hi, Thanks for your help. It turns out that the problem was with the connection into the TV. We where using an AV cable (plugged directly into the red, white & yellow terminals) and one of the connections obviously wasn't working properly, because when we plugged the cable into a scart converter and plugged that into a scart socket on the TV, it works fine.

If the audio works for regular tv

check to see if the av cable is in properly
or if the red and white leads are plugged in

The blue pad on the drums for guitar hero world tour isnt working

Hi-

You can repair your drums actually for pretty reasonable!
Here is a link to a video on how to repair the drums yourself,
you'll have to purchase the cable yourself, but you can find one if you search eBay for "guitar hero drum cable"

I hope this helps!

Guitar Hero World Tour for Wii won't load

Solution: Wii Console needed to download a software upgrade from the web to run Guitar Hero World Tour. Internet connection in our home is via a Linksys ADSL wireless router. Entered Wii Setup menu (select Wii button on bottom left of screen). Changed Connection 1 from None to Wireless. Wii picked up the SSID broadcast from the router. Did a Test Connection which worked. Wii Console prompted me to 'download Wii System Upgrade from Web?'. Clicked OK. Download took approx 10 mins. On completion of download Guitar Hero World Tour loaded automatically. Note: I have read that the Wii uses wireless protocol 802.11b. Make sure your router has both 802.11g and 802.11b enabled or 802.11b only for the duration of the download. Best of luck.

Can't get wireless guitar to work on rockband

I had this same problem.
In my case, the problem was that we bouht the guitar hero guitarm they told us to put the Wii remote inside the guitar and it will work.
What we found out was that those games have a matrix of compatiabilities. The Guitar hero guiar that you plug the Wii remote into the guitar, those DO NOT WORK with Rockband.
You have to buy another Rockband guitar, the guitar is $69.00 ad it comes with the second little square dongle thingy but it works.
If you look at the guitar for the guitar hero box, even the generic guitar that's made by Nyko, it says guitar hero on the box. it should say Guitar Hero ONLY...
Just return the cheap little $29.00 guitar and get the Rockband guitar and it will work. There are a series on sync procedures, try them all. Also go into the Rockbad game and sync the TV, basically you need t choose the TV type, rear projection, LCD, CRT etc... That will help the timing problems.

Unable to connect drums and guitar for guitar hero world tour wii

i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar). so far so good, seems to have worked.
