Question about Washing Machines

Open Question

Washing Machine programmer control stuck

I have a Zerowatt washing machine and the little wheel that allows you to choose the program to execute, is stuck of "rinse" and will not move left of right. I turned it on and I can hear that the machine is trying to move along in the programs but can't, so I had to turn it off.
I have a feeling its just a small technical problem bahind the program valve and that the machine itself actually works. Does anyone know how I could try to solve this?

does the water empty from the machine? if not you will more than likely have something trapped in the pump. the best thing to do is run the grey outlet hose into a bucket, this will empty the machine. then tilt machine back (make sure it wont fall) then remove the plastic kick plate on the front bottom, behind this you should see the round plastic filter this will unscrew and pull out, you may need a couple of towels put on the floor as there is usually water left in the pipes. clean any debris and screw filter back in, should only need to be hand tight. replace kick plate and then give it try.
hope this helps

Guess it's a bearing in the drum, though just my appreciation. If you are not a tech in washing machines, you should call a reapir service to get it dismounted and replaced
Watch some videos about issue. Take note that you are not specifying your make an model and procedure might be somwhat different for your particular washing machine.

Candy washing machine gc4 2d washes for about 15" then stops for 30" (the screen goes black) then on again for about 10" and then stops again.

sounds like overload protection is disabling the machine. it could be caused by a lot of reasons, the only advice I have is to check for a jammed drum, empty machine and see if drum turns freely. best luck to you.

Hi if your beko wme8227b washing machine wont drain or has a spin problem then you have to check the carbon brushes first.

Also check all waste pipes are clear and inspect the pump I have included this video below.

At our website I am doing self diagnostic videos on these beko's as we speak so all tutorials will be in this link below

Put wash on, no water have checked water supply all ok ?

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. In this case the inlet valve is not working and allowing water to flow . Check the voltage on the inlet valve, if absent then the program controller unit if faulty. If not the inlet valve must be checked

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

The rince light is flashing. I have tried re-starting programme and all sorts of things but when it gets to the rinse it starts flashing.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET valve to open up and allow water to flow into. If this does not happen then the voltage at the inlet valve must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.
