- Same problem - screen cracked on the inside. It 'fell' of a 16" bench, inside Nikon's own padded bag. Poor design as I think the mounting arrangement for the viewfinder/flash only has to receive a miniscule impact and it will break the lcd screen. Anyone know who can repair it - it's out of warranty and, of course, Nikon aren't interested. Canon for me next time. Cheers.- boristhebikeJan 21, 2009
