You can go on the nintendo website or call their help center. There is a specific problem with some Wii models that won't allow the consoles to read "dual discs" (Smash bro). I was so frustrated, I would put the disc in and it would come up with "Error". If you do to the website it will give you specific instructions on what to do to handle the problem. You will have to ship it in but they will pay for all shipping charges. I sent mine in and didn't expect it to get back very fast but was out for about 1wk. that included shipping time both ways. It was very fast and will now read the Smash Bro. disc.

Hi
You might not be putting the disk in the right way? It happens with me sometimes but then I remember to make sure to face the disk the right way!!! Try it ; should work!

My wii wont read disc

This is a hardware failure. Sending it Nintendo is the only option. Unless you think you have the skills to repair it yourself. Here is the link to Nintendo

Wont read discs

If it only does this for this one game, you may have a defective game disc, it happens. Often, if you have just recently purchased it, you can return it to the store and tell them that it was defective and get a new one. If not, you can always try cleaning it though I doubt that's the problem.
nintendo.com says "If after reading the above information you are still unable to play a game disc, please call 1-800-255-3700 to discuss available options."
