Question about Sony XL-2100U Projector Lamp for KF-42WE610, KF-50WE610, KF-60WE610, KDF-60XBR950, KDF-70XBR95
I've owned my Sony KF-42WE610 for about 3 years now and all of a sudden when I came home and turned on the TV something was wrong with the picture. Certain colors do not appear to be showing up and the picture generally has a pink tone to it. Overall the picture is very snowy and the best way I can descibe the picture is that it has some sort of a "negative" effect. I'm wondering if this is a bulb problem given that I've had the TV for 3 years now, but I want to be sure before going out and buying a new bulb. Thanks, Chad I had a problem with my Sony LCD projection KF50WE610 screen developing blue spotched. I replaced the buld and it did not fix the problem. How do remove the blue spots that appear?
Symptom shows problem with Light Engine circuit and most probably 3 LCD drive section in light engine.
Does TV give any error blinks on standby light?
