have you tried it on all bands? still won't transmit?take it to a tech so they can fix it properly.

If on all modes check the mic first to see if wired right or wires broken--this should have am-fm-lsb-usb---which works or do not work.

By all means run the unit while you wait for the new RCI cell. The purifier will be less effective in killing germs while the RCI cell is out. It will still work to reduce the allergens in the air. Hope this helps you.

you have to reset after replacing the RCI cell there is a reset button

The U.V light is inside the RCI cell. If you replace the RCI, it has been ok. Please don't mind the screen display.
