The battery must be dead, I plugged the charger into the wall and attached it to my computer. Well, the light was green on the charger, but when I plugged it into the laptop, the light went out on the charger and the computer still wouldn't come on. At first I thought it was the charger, but after testing out different sockets and getting the same results, I believe it's the computer. This computer is brand new and I was just on it the night before and everything was fine. Any help is appreciated.

That unit comes with 2 chargers and you should try them both to see if it is the charger or the battery system in the actual light.

Batterys dont charge
Very rarely will you come across 2 bad batteries in a kit. If you have 2 batteries that will not take a charge and they are from the same kit. The common denomiater would be the charger. I would look into that. when some chargers fail the lights still work but the charger does not actually charge. If posible double check the same batteries with a different charger.

try this okay take out battery for five mins then replug the power cord in sometimes the sensor dont recgonize but if that dont work its the battery charger end that coulbe be messed up

the way 2 know if tis charging is wen u plug in ur charger 2 ur psp on da right a orange light should appear and stay ther eas long as its charging . wen it goes away it should be blank. if this doesnt happen on urs i dont know why. it should have come wiv a anual in ur psp box unless u have bought a used 1 from someone in dat case dey mite have not given 2 u for whatever reason. i hope dis helped=)

Optio a10 charger
if you don't see a light on the charger lite up its the charger, or the internal batteries are no longer excepting the charger. my first guess is the charger itself.
