Problems installing the picture package on my mac

After i put the software disk on my drive. I try to open IMXINST.SIT

SOURCE: Macromedia Flash

I am wrting in regards to my Sony Handycam DCR-HC36. I am having problems with the Picture Package software when I try to load my video. When I try to transfer my videos (from my Handycam) to my Pesonal Computer, the picture package(software) menu does not appear on my PC(The picture package software is already installed).

Everytime I try to click on the Picture Package Icon on my desktop, there is a pop-up that says I "must install Macromedia Flash Player for Application to continue".

I went ahead and installed the Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player and it still doesn't work when I try to click on the Picture Package Icon. The pop-up still comes up. I also, re-installed some of the requirements for the for the camera to work such as Direct X and Windows Media Player.

I also enabled my Javascript(active Script).

The problem is most likely within my PC(maybe I'm missing another type of software???), what do you think are my options in resolving this matter?

Please help me out

OCR folder not found after installation of driver (software) for Lexmark X4650

The Lexmark OCR scan software is available in the installation disk. The OCR folder should appear when you Explore the disk (for Windows) or Show Package Contents (for Mac). Open the executable file to manually install the software. If you don't have the installation disk, contact Lexmark technical support for assistance. Thanks.

Broken software disk vivitar mini camera

no problem if you have broken the disk dude. you can still use the camera in a good way and still upload them to your computer. your installation disk is just used for assisstance softwares like " picture package music transfer" which is used for playing your own desired music in your camera while watching the slideshow. so dont worry

I'm trying to open an installation package that was made for Mac OSx 10.5 but I have Mac OSx 10.4.1. is there any way to convert the file or something so I can open the file and install it on my computer?

If an Installation Package (not an application) is written with a 10.5 requirement, it will not install on anything other than 10.5. That does not mean for certain that the software won't run on 10.4, only that the developer put in a 10.5 requirement for the installation package.
Right click on the installation package and select "show package contents". Then open the "Contents" folder in there. There should be an "Archive" file in there, like "archive.pax.gz". See if you can open that. It should contain the actual software. I can't guarantee it will work on 10.4, but it might. If it doesn't, you'll really need to find a version built for 10.4

VISTA is instal in diff disk n it shows diff disk (when its open)

Unlike games which often require the disk to be inserted in order to be able to play them, Vista is your operating system which is, in fact, installed on your C: drive and once it is installed you no longer need the disk in your CD drive.

You can safely remove it, put it in its packaging, and save it for when you have problems that require you to re-install it.

fyi. An operating system is a collection of software that is used to control your computer hardware on one side, and allow you an interface to use it on the other side. The programs you install use the operating system in order to indirectly use the hardware to do what they do. The more popular operating systems in use today are the various flavors of Windows, and also the Mac o/s, Linux, Unix, QNX, Netware and others. They all have strengths that make them the best choice in a given situation.

Issues loading software on powerbook G4

Try using the finder to locate your software packages and simply relocate their icons to the applications folder by opening several new finder windows and dragging and dropping them there.

If you, in fact, went through each application's setup, then the icons were created somewhere on the disk, perhaps on the desktop or even above the desktop, external to the particular user.

Try locating each package back to the applications folder.

I photo

You need to export these pictures to your hard disk and then an external hard disk. Pictures take a lot of RAM. You can buy more RAM for your computer and pictures will open.

I had to this to open my family history with 7 generations including pictures.
