Hey i have an interesting problem, i have no sound comming from the deck "sometimes". when i turn the car on the deck comes on and reads the cd, or tunes to a station i get absolutely no sound. sometimes it does this sometims it doesnt, another thing, it will be playing fine, and if i take the face off and put it back on it wont play sound again. everything is running, the cd is playing, the song time is counting, but no sound. PLEASE HELP!! lol Polak

Panasonic CQ-DP383U resetting the security?

check the fues on the back of the cq dp383u you will have to pull out the deck itself there a 15amp fuse beside the wireharness it might have blowen if not the unit is more than likely fried but check with a audio shop for testing

When you unhooked your deck it still had power going to it, you need to unplug your car battery and plug it back in that should reset the deck and get the error message to go away.

No sound from CQ-1305U car CD/stereo

You may have one of this two problems:
One of the speaker wires is grounded to the chassis.
Or your car may have a factory amplifier between the radio and the speakers.
My suggestion is to rewire the speakers lines

take your yellow wire and hookit up to the battery same as the red your just loseing the memory when you turn your key off that tell me you got the yellow wire hooked up to the key insted of power check you manual

If you using external amplifiers with you system;check your remote wires.
You may be using the wrong remote wire to turn you amp on.
There are two remote wires,one is for pwr ANTENNA(BLUE ONLY),this wire cut the pwr out when you insert a cd.
The other wire is the REMOTE TURN ON(BLUE/WHITE STRIPE)this is the one you need to connect to the you amp.
