Question about Nikon D100 Digital Camera
It's probably a speck of dust on the image sensor behind the shutter. If you can't find the cleaning mode in the Menu, set the camera to the M setting and rotate the dial to Bulb. Press and hold the button while you blow the sensor ( blue/green glass ) - BE SURE NOT TO TOUCH THE SENSOR and don't let the shutter close while you're blowing the sensor.
If you're not comfortable doing it, most camera repair shops will do it while you wait.
