I have had all these suggestions before...but nothing changes! I do the empty hot wash thing and run a proper washing mashine cleaner through every month, and usually wash at 40-60 degrees, but still the slime...

how do I check that the machine is rinsing/pumping ok?

Never had the problem before I had this washing machine...and have spent fortune on repair call outs...to no avail

You are possibly washing at the wrong temp, or not using sufficient powder or detergent.
The m/c is not rinsing properly, check that it is pumping o/k.
If there is a build up off slime and mould on your door seal, then you are definately washing at too low temp.
At least every 4 to 6 weeks, do a high temp wash with powder in but no clothes.
This is called a maintenance wash and helps to keep the inside parts clean..
If your door seal is stained, clean as best you can with a scourer pad or similar. You will not hurt the seal.
plz rate my solution .
Thanks.

At the end of the programme the clothes should be cold, if they are warm then it is not rinsing properly.

With the m/c empty fill it with water and put it on to drain, it should empty in less than 1 min..

If it takes longer, then it is not draining properly.#

    Hope this helps.

What is needing done to stop oily smears on clothing after being washed in beko washing machine

beko front loaders use sealed bearings ..

would suggest try doing several empty hot washes with a strong liquid detergent
and as a tester ..put in a white piece of material
check for oil sludge in the lint filter
if oil persists
have it looked at by a professional

Bosch Maxx 2000 leaves brown sludge on washing. Has it died?

Is the rubber seal around the drum perished or has it not been cleaned for while? The seal should be wiped out after every use, you may find it full of gunk if you run a cloth around inside the seal.

Smells grey sludge on clothes

its from all the old detergents not getting to the drain and lay in the outer wash tub,the smell is from mold starting to form in this gooey mess, you may need to remove the inner tub to get this goo out of the outer tub, then make sure the drain pump, hoses are also clean of this goop and there are no kinks,or blockages in the drain hoses or pump

I get dirty streaks on cloths during the wash cycle.

Hi,

It's a common problem with modern machines.
Due the modern way of washing on low temperatures some dirt will stick into the machine's.
You can try to wash some old stuff several times on a high temperature and instead of using washingpowder you have to use a handfull of soda.
It will clean the inside. Worked fine overhere.

Good luck,
Gerard

Grey sludge on my washing

Hi, I had the same problem.
The waste is blocked, check the drain pipe from the machine and also where it drains out to. (thick sludge)
I ended up unclipping the pipe from the drain motor (Bottom rear) and passing a garden hose throught it to flush it out.

Old washing machine is starting to leave grey streaks on clothing

hmmm..let's see..sounds like you have some residue accumulating from something possibly seeping into the tub. That can be old rubber, a metal sheath, or even an leak of lubricant. Like an old car, there are parts of every mechanical device that need to be attended to.

I'd recommend you find the most seasoned person that works on older machines, to come by and assess what is 'leaking' on your clothing. Grey comes from something metallic or rubber/plastic.

Hope you can solve this one, and keep that old machine happy.
