Yes, I've tried the obvious things. I got frustrated with it and, when visiting Portsmouth at the weekend, I called in to a Novatec shop and bought the TRUST wireless/keyboard combo - which is working fine. I would still like to sort out the problem with the original Medion (Liteon) keyboard however. Thanks for your efforts,

    Koolcar.

I have a Medion 8390 which uses the same keyboard and same problem. The keyboard is such a crappy device, for ever not being able to type correctly and looses its contact with the base stationconstantly. Now the reset button has stuck, really what were they thinking in releasing such ****!

The wireless keyboards & mice work on batteries, try replacing the batteries first, if that doesn't work you may try with an USB(or PS2) replacement keyboard/mouse.

I have a Labtec multi media keyboard & mouse, MN Y-RAC66 & one MN Y-RB6.Neither have the "transmitter". Part no longer available from Labtec.

Most of these are brand specific. If the unit is bluetooth (I don't think this is the case) , you can buy a dongle, no problem. If not, you can try to find a used on for sale. You can buy a basic wireless keyboard and mouse new for under $30.

Mouse does not work, batteries are ok

LOL, just when you need it to work those wireless mouse and keyboards always fail you. I never understood the concept of why have a wireless mouse or keyboard because you have to be sitting right there at the computer to use them. Therefore why not use a dependable wired device?

Maybe the mouse needs replacing or somewhere in the mouse properties you have the pointer locked.

My tower takes for ever to load and it wont read my mouse or my keyboard so my keyboard doesnt work please give me some help

Loading problems are usually due to a hard drive that is almost full, leaving windows with no "swap file" (or virtual ram). It can also be down to a very badly fragmented hard drive.

The mouse and keyboard problem ( I;m assuming you are using a Ps2 mouse and keyboard) point to a failed connector on the back panel. Try using a USB mouse and keyboard, (if you are using one already and this model supports ps2, try the other way)

If the USB ports on the computer do not work, to use a keyboard or mouse, then the problem is more serious and you may have a damaged motherboard

i assumed that you use device PS2 (Mouse & Keyboard), this rarely situation, but you haved installed and not more better, because the problem not with your system, but with your hardware, maybe you can change with USB Mouse Device and for Keyboard PS2 is better than USB Keyboard.

I have a Medion wireless mouse and the mouse pointer keeps freezing intermittently. The operating system is windows vista home premium.

Make sure the mouse batteries are fully charged.

Also make sure the mouse is not too far away from the base / cradle and there is nothing blocking the sensor on the front of the mouse cradle.

Make sure all the cables are fully inserted. Check both ends of the power adapter plug going into the back of the mouse cradle and the plugs leading to the back of the computer.

Try cleaning the little red LED light under the mouse with a QTip to remove any dust.

Finally try using a different mouse pad. Some work better than others with certain brands of wireless mice.

Also make sure there is not another wireless mouse being used in close proximity. The two can often interfere with each other.

Good luck and please comment back and RATE if this was helpful.

How on earth do u use the mouse and keyboard for Acer Aspire Z5600/Z5610. Hubby cant use touch screen, please help?

There should be a USB receiver inside the battery compartment of your mouse.
Plug it in to the computer and try using the connect button on the keyboard and mouse.
That should do the trick.

If you have to click and then it operates fine, this is just because after a while the mouse goes to sleep to save on batteries. It is a normal feature of the mouse.

If this is a wireless keyboard there should be some kind of software that comes with it. The software should alert you when you push like scroll lock, caps lock, or num lock.

Or you can use this nifty little program that costs about $25. It stays in the icon tray and will notify you when you push any of those buttons. Here is a link to that website http://www.programurl.com/clever-keyboard-indicator.htm

I hope I have helped you.
