Question about Nikon Coolpix S510 Digital Camera
Coolpix s510.... i took the camera on holiday and too a night club. In the club were some electric lights and whenever i took a photo anywhere near the lights the screen had interference lines appear on it so i believe the photos might be poor. i have already sent the camera back to Nikon but it has come back working just the same. I have had a digital camera before and never experienced this problem
Probably the refresh frequency of the lights conflicting with the shutter speed in use - try raising the ISO for a faster shutter speed

Check the memory card. It's probably damaged. If not it should be a software error, and you have to take it to the dealer where you purchased it from

I have had success with this... Download the program
You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
