Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I've got a TEAC MCDX10 (which is not any more under the warranty) and suddenly the receiver has stopped working: there are loads of distortion & it seems to be stuck in one position (although display shows searching FM or AM, the output sound doesn't change)Do you have an idea how to fix the problem? Many thanks

SOURCE: No radio
The front end is bad on this reicever. Your going to need special equipment to trouble shoot this problem, as Its all RF. It is most likly not worth repairing as a shop will most likly charge you more then its worth

SOURCE: No AM or FM yet cd player works
Maybe, there is a problem from the detector of you radio function to the amplifier. Try to check on it first or try resoldering from the detector section

The loop antenna is for AM. The FM connection is just like the speaker hook up. Pull down the tab and insert the bare wire.
Hope this helps. If not let me know
For trial purpose you and use an old electrical cord . Strip the insulation off about 1/2 in and insert it into the connections on the back
