Managing multiple users on Chrome
Do you share a computer with your family or friends on a regular basis? Do you want to keep your bookmarks, themes, and settings separate from everyone else's? You can add new users to Chrome to let everyone have their own personalized copies of Chrome on the same computer.
Add a new user
Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar and select Settings.
In the "Users" section, click Add new user.
A confirmation dialog appears, choose a picture and enter a name for the new Chrome user. Note: When you add a new Chrome user a desktop shortcut is created by default. If you don't want a desktop shortcut uncheck the "Add desktop shortcut" checkbox.Creating a desktop shortcut for new users allows each Chrome user on your computer to quickly access their profile. Different profiles are easily differentiated on the desktop by the different names and pictures associated with each profile.
A new window for the user appears, with a picture you've chosen for the user in the top corner. Here, you can sign in to Chrome with a Google Account to associate the account with the user. Once signed in, all the bookmarks, apps, extensions, theme, and browser settings for the user will be synced to the account. Learn more about signing in to Chrome

Internet Explorer 8 suffers a glitch involving high-contrast themes for the Windows desktop and other "theme-skinning" software. Themes change the way components of the Windows operating system appears. When Internet Explorer 8 is installed for the first time, certain themes such as "Classic" can trigger a defect in the browser which makes the toolbar and window frame appear to be solid black. The glitch is only temporary and is removable by switching themes.
Press "WIN" and "R" at the same time. Type "services.msc" into the "Run" Dialog box and Press "Enter". Scroll down the list of services until you see "Themes" service. Stop it by right-clicking it and selecting "Stop". This forces the visual effects for Windows to be disabled temporarily. Close any Internet Explorer windows that may be open. In the "Services" list, right-click "Themes" and select start. This will reset and re-enable visual effects for the Windows operating system. Right-click the desktop and select "Properties". In the "Properties" dialog box, click the "Themes" tab if it is not selected. On the drop down list, change the theme to an alternative item on the list. Click "Apply". Once the theme has changed, click the drop down list again and change it back to the original theme. Click "OK" to any open dialog boxes. Open up Internet Explorer to test the browser. If the toolbar appears normal, the issue has been resolved. If they still appear black, reboot the computer and test Internet Explorer again. b>

well the easiest thing to do is sync your browser w/your email address. if you haven't done this, there's really no way to restore it unless you do it manually. to sync google chrome to your email do this: go to the wrench icon @ the top right. go to options click the 'personal stuff' tab on the left the first option is to sync your account, follow the setup instructions. If you have already done this, there's a button to resync all your settings. good luck!!
Its may just be an issue with themes in chrome. Change back to the default if you are not already using it by clicking the wrench button on the top right of chrome/options/personal stuff/reset to default theme. Or you can try using internet explorer, or firefox to reset your password, and you should be fine.
