Question about Nokia N70 Cellular Phone

Motorola W375 Not connecting to Network

Have had this phone for 2 days and it has connected to the network only about 2 or three times.. Tried a different SIM and it worked straight away for a few times then it wont connect now either.

Both SIMs work fine in another mobile.

Obvious Motorola problem, has anyone seen this issue before, and know how to solve it?

The firm contact angle didnt make any difference, probably more to do with antenna being flaky, not sure. Anyway the advice is still good, send the phone back to get it fixed/replaced. Cheers.

Seen it before, very common problem, Sim card not fiting in correctly on this phone. I had a friend with the same problem, I put my Sim card on his phone and it worked for a moment, they we made sure we inserted his Sim card firmly but we had put a small piece of papper behind it to make more preassure so it touches down to the metal part and it worked fine..This is a handset issue though and this is usually an issue that would entitle you to get a warranty replacement through your service provider.
I would say that if this is a brand new phone and if you dont want to have to deal with this issue all the time then defenetly get the phone replaced. Warranty replacements are free.

Subsidy password for Motorola w375

To obtain this code, you'll first need to take out the battery and look at the sticker on the back on the phone where the battery was. You should see a number labeled the IMEI.

Then, contact the company the phone was made for (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, whomever). It should say their name or logo somewhere on the phone. They will ask you to provide the IMEI and it should be no time at all before you have the code.

I lost my drivers. it s not getting connected to pc

HOWTO_Connect How to connect Motorola W375 to a Windows computer Introduction¶ This document describes how to connect your Motorola W375 to your computer in order to use it as a modem, or to administer it with Motorola W375 Manager software.
Connecting¶ To connect your motorola W375, follow the next steps:
  • Download and uncompress Motorola W375 Driver from this site.
  • Connect your W375 to your computer with its lid closed.
(You can also connect the device with its lid open, and choose "not" when it asks for permission to connect as an storage device)
  • When Windows asks you for a driver, select Motorola W375 driver folder.
This way, the next time you connect your mobile phone closed, your computer will recognize it as a new communications port and you are ready to use it with Motorola W375 Manager. If you open this "COM" port with a terminal emulation software (i.e Windows Hiperterminal) and type "AT", the mobile phone will respond you with an "OK" string.
Using it with Motorola W375 Manager¶ To use your mobile with Motorola W375 Manager, simply connect your mobile phone closed and then, start Motorola W375 Manager software.
Using it as a modem¶ To use your mobile phone as a modem, install "Standard 19200 Modem" driver and select the communications port associated to your motorola W375.
About Motorola W375 driver¶ Motorola W375 driver is basically the same driver known as Motorola USB Charging Driver. You can download Motorola USB Charging driver from motorola US support web site for Motorola W375. If you try to use Motorola USB Charging driver directly with your Motorola W375, device type will not be recognized, but if you change device ID from "USB\VID_2811&PID_0702" to "USB\VID_22b8&PID_4061", this usb charging driver will become completely compatible with wour Motorola W375 mobile phone. The driver you can download from this site, is exactly a Motorola USB Charging driver with the mentioned modification.

Broken phone, SIM OK

The chances are that the W375 is locked to Net10. The other Motorola phone you mentioned will work with the old SIM if the phone was previously used on Net10, or has been unlocked.

Most phones, upon issue, are locked to the network that provided the phone. If the other working phone is locked to a different network, speak to the Network it was previously locked to, and ask for an unlock code.

Try it anyway, you can't damage anything by doing so.

Bluetooth help

This phone does not even have bluetooth!

The only way to transfer files from one to the other is to transfer from phone#1 to your PC, then from the PC to phone #2.

Maybe you have a different phone to the w375. The w375 does not have bluetooth.
