How to change google to homepage

To provide a better answer, I would need to know what Operating System (Windows or Mac OS X, etc.). Typically you can change this from within the browser, within a settings area. I've provided links below for three popular browsers:

Mozilla Firefox:

WANT TO MAKE ASK MY HOMEPAGE

In Internet Explorer. Go to Tools in the upper left hand corner, then in that box click internet options at the bottom. A box will pop open.

In the top of that box will be an address. Delete it and type www.ask.com then hit ok at the bottom. Do not hit apply, hit ok. Should be good to go. Open a new webpage to make sure it stuck.

As a side note, if you don't see the line on top of your screen that says file, view, favorites, tools, and help do this...right click with your mouse on the top of the page ABOVE (not in) the address bar and make sure "menu bar" is checked.

Good Luck

I have lost the ability to use any link that comes with an email, also links to move from one page to another within anything that came via email

Microsoft Windows 2000 loadTOCNode(2, 'workaround');
  1. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop to start Windows Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
  3. On the File Types tab, scroll down the list until you locate the N/A section in the Extensions column.
  4. Click the N/A URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol entry, and then click Advanced.
  5. In the Edit File Type dialog box that appears, click the OPEN entry in the Actions box, and then click Edit.
  6. In the Editing action for type: URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol window, click to clear the Use DDE check box, and then click OK.
  7. Click OK, click Close, and then quit Windows Explorer.
  8. Quit all versions of Internet Explorer.
Now links will open in a new Internet Explorer window.
If not try installing mozilla firefox and make it as the default browser

When I go onto a website and try to send my friends a link to the website none of my sent emails are received including the ones I send to my self on my own email

Check to make sure tat Parental Controls in the email client are OFF.

Another way is to use a free mail service such as yahoo.com or mail.com.

With the page you want to send link to open in one browser window or tab, open the free email in another tab and compose your message.

When you want to insert the link to the page you are sending, click on that tab, right-click in address bar, and choose "copy".

Now go back into mail site, right-click in message body, and select "paste".

The link should now mail without incident.

Good luck !!

How can I send a page to a friend other than email. I can not find a way to do that.

To send a page to a friend, you have many options. You can send it to them through chat, if you are using AOL you can click a link at the top of the window that looks like a little running running man with a plus sign next to him, this will automatically insert the link into an instant message window. you can write down the URL which is the link in the address bar and send it to them in a letter. If there is other ways you wish to send it, or you need help with email. please feel free to contact me!
