DFX 9000 Printing problem


DFX 9000 Printer Problem, first print the top page is at the correct distance but when the printing going down to the next page it’s slowly get down the page? Setting is correct, Already adjust page margin etc. So what is all about?

this is a spacing problem with your software format. See what size the printing project is listing for page length, and also if there are any "hard breaks/tabs" in the project that you didn't notice.

change or clean the tractor system of paper. first clean with alchool. if the problem will persiste then change'it.

Epson LQ-2180 continuous printing problem


The default paper height is 12". If you want to change it to 11" you should refer to printer manual and follow the steps. Otherwise if you are using a software for printing. Ask your developer to give following command for setting paper height

Chr(27) + Chr(67) + Chr(0) + Chr(11)

Have you tried to check the print settings?
Click on Start>Control Panel>Printers(Printers and faxes)> Right Click on the DFX-9000 printer icon>left click on properties>click the printing preferences button located below the properties box. In this window you should see the setting of the printer itself.

Please perform the following steps to ensure your printer is physically functioning.

1. Turn the printer off and disconnect the interface cable.
2. Load plain, single part tractor paper into the printer.
3. Press the LOAD/EJECT button while turning on the printer.

NOTE: The self test prints over several pages. After the first or second page has printed, press PAUSE and turn the printer off.

If this self test prints correctly, then the printer hardware is functioning correctly.

>Try printing from other applications.
>Check cables as they can cause communication errors.
>Re-install the driver.
>Go to support.epson.com for more information & documentation.
