Question about Hitachi 43F300 43" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

No clue TV has a thin green line across the screen and when any words are streaming across the screen, ESPN, etc., they "trail" off of the screen. (Downward) TV is 3 years old. Also, very top left hand corner "droops" down. Help? Thanks.

Sounds like failures of the convergence output IC's. They should be STK392-110's in the set. Also check associated circuitry around them.

My toshiba tn61x81 projection tv

have you tried the convergence option in the menu? i believe it is under "picture". this allows for nine different sections of the screen to be adjusted when projection images get out of whack.
