Well i droped my sidekick2 on the floor and the screen turn out to be white......i cant see notthing i can only hear the games i downloaded

- I FIXED MINES LIKE A MONTH AGO ITS REALLY EASY TO FIX OPEON YOUR SIDEKICKTO UP THE FOUR BUTTONS REMOVE THEM AND TAKE THE LCD SCREEN OUT AND THEN LEAVE IT OUT FOR TO DAYS THATS WHAT I DID NOT 2 DAYS BUT LIKE FOR IT MONTHSame Problem

- about 2 years ago my brother had given me his sidekick 2. My brother takes excellent care of everything he owns so i know the phone was in great condition. i had accidentally dropped it and the screen went blank and I'm 15 and in high school and i cant get a job because no1 wants to hire me so i have no money to take it to a shop to get it fixed. so i gotta fix it myself. How do i do this? and please make it very through don't leave ANYTHING out please. if you can help me out i would really it. thank you so much!- i love SK

- I have the same problem - a blank screen - I went to the T-Mobile Store and they couldn't help, suggested I contact the manufacturer. I called them and their answer was to send back the device to be re-furbished at a cost of $250 which is crazy.Although the device is out of warranty good business practice would be to replace it at a reasonable cost. The manufacturer is ripping us off! It's a disgrace.

i love SK, If it is a white screen follow the instructions at the following link. You need to reset the flex cable on the lcd.

Hello Ayoitzpyda,
The problem you have is related to the connector from the mainboard to the lcd pannel. It got loose from it's socket and can't send the video signals to the lcd pannel to display. Or it is probably damaged. However in both cases you will need to have it checked at a service center. This shouldn't be an expensive repair but I recomand you to ask them a cost estimate before they actually repair it. If you have a damaged connector that needs to be replaced, it will be easy for them to change it, but if they don't have such spare parts it will be very expensive to get a new one as they are skipped only with the entire screen as a whole part.

The same thing happened to mine... I took it to the T-mobile store and they reset it twice for me but it didn't work... and someone told me that I probably need to get my screen replaced. I asked him how much and he told me that I was better off getting a new phone because they're like the same price... >_<
