did you try to go on settings camera and restore settings.Try it .You should watch if the protection from the camera is opened.She must have some protection on the camera.
you need to update either the firmware or your settings . firmware can be updated using the sony eric pcsuite and conection settings / configuration can be got from your service provider
i got sony ericsson w580i. i can't
operate my mobile as on screen shows "configuration error. pls. contact

operator but confirmed that my sim is in usual working state. i can
only listen to call but i cant go to main menu,neither i can listen to
song. even i cant able to make call. pleasehelp me

there is a contact error. In most cases it can be the connector itself. Please try to clean it with non greasy contact spray.

there is no password. Replacement/realignement of the optical block will solve the problem. Please contact the nearest Authorized Sony Service. The price for optical block (lens) is about 70 Euro (for my account).
