I had "Yahoo Messenger" in my old PC. With this new one, I can't get back into it.
Also can't access my old 'bookmarks'! What gives?

Hi,
If you have a problem with Yahoo Messenger, then you should take following solutions:

  1. Please Check your internet connections, if you sure it's connected, make sure you allow Yahoo messenger in your firewall. (Usually under Control Panel menu)
  2. If problem persist, try reinstall yahoo messenger by downloading it again. here is the link: http://blog.itgossips.com/tech/yahoo-messenger-offline-installer-download/
  3. If Yahoo messenger still can't connect, You may use Adium (Mac OSX) or Pidgin (Windows)
Any detail regarding issues will give me more accurate predictions. If you found this answer helpful, rating is appreciated.

I couldn't log in to yahoo messenger

Good Day Downtown!

There are different possibility while you can not log in to Yahoo Messenger right now.

Better check if your internet connection is stable. You can also disable the Firewall setting on your system, most of the time Firewall blocks the connection of Yahoo Messenger especially when connection is wireless.

Also, make sure you type the user id and password correctly. check for spelling and capital letters when you type it.

If you can upgrade the Internet Explorer in your system, that would help in Yahoo connection issues. Cause Yahoo products rely its connection from Windows Internet Explorer.

Please go to http://icantsignintoyahoomessenger........
and take some time to read it cause this will helps in your connection issues.

Good Luck Downtown!
Hope you will comeback later after you have log in successfully with Yahoo Messenger.

Hi I have this error message coming up at the moment. This morning I was asked to chage my password which I have done and now I cann ot access my account/home page Host Name: p372.my.ukl.yahoo.com Yahoo!...

Hi Sue,

You may want to try again. I enter your p372.my.ukl.yahoo.com, and your page came right up. Or is it when your logging in that your getting this error? If so, you need to contact Yahoo support in order for them to allow you to access the account.

Thanks
Mark
