Question about GE (98980) Headset
Hello, i have an Ideazon gh-100 mic/ headset. im using it for ventrillo but i cannot get it to work. i have two ports in the front of my comp (one pink and one green) and ive plugged the pink to pink and green to green. ive set the pink to mic in and the green to line out. ive gone to my sound and voice and to the voice tab to test it and the recording and playback tabs do not list my mic. it only lists Realtek HD Audio which is my audio manager. this is really aggravating. i do not know if it came with software; i dont believe so. i dont know if i need a driver either since ive checked the site and i cannot even find faqs or help for this mic on the website. any help would be appreciated extremely. thanks

You haven't mentioned it that i can see but when you have the green plug into the green can you hear sound ?... if so look for the speaker icon on the lower right of your screen. open that to volume control.... look at the mic setting... is the mute box marked ? if so uncheck it and try the mic again
